Whiz, Pop, Bang!

Whiz, pop, bang! Today we celebrated bonfires night and Diwali with salty water colour fireworks, gorgeous rice rangowli patterns, glittery firework paintings and super sparkly play dough! If you missed out today the class is running again on Monday morning - so come and get glittered!

If you would like to make the coloured rice at home to create more rangowli patterns it very simple. You need to mix 1 cup of white rice with some bright food colouring and a teaspoon of vinegar in a plastic tub with a lid on. Give it a good shake until the grains are all well coated in colour. Tip out onto a baking tray, spread out and leave by a radiator for a day or two until dry. Repeat with a range of colours.
