Amazing playdough

We often incorporate playdough into our themed classes, the children just love it. It really is an amazing way for children to be creative, it can become whatever they wish. We love to add in exciting playdough props to make the experience even more fun. This term some of our favourite have been icy animal and space/moon playdough. To the icy animals we added sugar cubes for icebergs or igloo ice blocks, foil for ice and plenty of glittery pipe cleaners for icicles. For our space playdough we made moon rocks from foil, put hundreds of star sequins out to be added in to the playdough and some little astronaut figures all on a background of a starry galaxy playdough mat.
